Hi everybody!
You are going to work on the global warming and the greenhouse effect.
What's the global warming? Watch the video and find out.
Task 1 Watch the video and answer the following questions:
1) What happened to the planet's temperature?
2) What do scientists believe?
3) What's the name of this process?
4) Write down three factors which release huge amounts of carbon dioxide and other gases into the atmosphere.
5) What do these greenhouse gases do?
6) What's the greenhouse effect?
7) What's one of the evidence for global warming?
8) What's happening to the arctic sea?
9) What do rising temperature mean for the planet?
10) How can consumers help?
An animated video whose title is "What's the Deal with Carbon?"
Task 3: take action! Create an infographic where you suggest top ten tips to reduce your carbon footprints. The best infographics will be posted either on my website, on the facebook page of the school, printed and hung on the school's walls!

Student A: You are a radio journalist in charge of writing an interview to an expert of top ten energy sources for the future. (interviewer)
Student B: You are an expert being interviewed by a radio journalist on top ten energy sources for the future. (interviewee)
The interview has to include the following information:
- Greetings
- Presentation of programme (how is it called? Which issues does it deal with? Is it local or national? How many times a week is it on air?)
- Presentation of the interviewee (name, job, why did you choose him/her?)
